If you are a new member (or indeed an existing member)and getting emails from the society via the WTR system BUT you can not get on the system then ...
This is to make you aware that for September we will be running a dual system, subject to your availability on GMS you will see your appointments on there, however going forward (and many of your fixtures will be duplicated on WTR we would ask you to adopt using WTR as , all appointments for our Society will from October onwards be processed using WhosTheRef.com.(WTR) This appointments website was originally designed to manage rugby referee appointments but has grown to be a complete society management program that is used by many sports in many countries around the world.
The following link will display a user introduction which will help you get familiar and to navigate around the database. Initially there will be lots to see and learn but I know that once you are familiar with WTR it will make life easier for all of us.

If you do, however, have any concerns then please raise these directly through your club or the society.
The most important actions for you initially are:
Set your password – your record is already on the system, and your user name is the email address at which you received this email. However your record does not yet have a password, so you need to set this before you can access the database.
1. To set your password follow this link by cutting and pasting into your browser:
www.whostheref.com/db_admin
2. Enter your email address in the username box
3. Click on the “Forgot or need a password” link
4. Click on the option ”Forgot or need a password” – DO NOT CLICK ON “SIGN UP AS A NEW USER”
5. Select Rugby from the choose your sport drop down menu
6. Click Proceed
7. An email will be sent to you with instructions to set your password
2) Set your availability – the guide explains how to do this. Keeping your availability up to date is the biggest single thing you can do to help your Society appointers.
You will be notified of your appointments via email, and you will need to Accept or Decline each appointment. If you decline, then the system will expect you to input a reason – this will help us with our planning.
We accept that using WhosTheRef.com is a change to how appointments have been managed to date, however, it is a proven system in use by many rugby organizations around the world
NB: If you are unable to access the link above, please copy the link into your browser.
If you are still having technical issues contact support@whostheref.com
Please note this is ONLY for the tech side of things and has NOTHING to do with appointments etc.
