Recently the standards of some postings on our Offical LADS What’s App site have fallen below the acceptable standards we should live up to.

Our social media policy is regularly posted and reminders sent. Its not optional, nor is it without sanctions for non compliance.

Where reminders do not work, we will remove content. If this occurs the person who posted should consider themselves in breach of our Social Media policy.

Rugby’s values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship are what makes the game special for those who enjoy the environment and culture they create, don’t let yourself or the society down by inappropriate postings.

Many of the issues that cause people to engage in inappropriate comments stem from not understanding the basics around the society or RFU/CB codes of practice.

Our Pitchero site has all the information you will need or contacts to seek clarity, rather than resort to emotional, ill-informed comments and illogical conclusions based upon opinion not facts.

If in doubt don’t post it, do check on Pitchero, do ask a person who may know (see Contacts section) rather than create a thread of comments that lead to false conclusions.
