Things to know
It is possible that a small number of referees will be asked to referee between April 26th and May 17th. Please remember if you are asked to do this it must be under adapted laws, see this short video (2.5 mins long) https://jwp.io/s/ZCPXaW8X and this more detailed video (50mins long and you need to register to see this video).https://www.workcast.com/register?cpak=9700773893508350
After May 17th clubs may begin full-contact training and again a small number of referees may be asked to officiate a game or a training session, these session should be under normal laws. One question you should consider is, are you fit and ready to referee, if not politely decline the invitation!
From 1st June to end of September, as last year we will be running referee training on Tuesday evenings at Wirral RFC and Thursday evenings at Sefton RFC. I will organise the Wirral session and Jimmy Taggart will organise the Sefton one. If you wish to be included in these sessions just let us know and we will include you in the What’s App groups specifically set up for those who wish to come along. You don’t have to come every week, you can work at your own intensity and there is a chance to have a beer and a chat afterwards too.

Do you need any new kit? If so please check out Greg Pandit’s on line Liverpool Society Shop, it has quite a stock of new items for both on and off the field.
Finally, and of real issue to our Society, if you are considering “retiring” from on-field activities, we are very much in need of more referee advisers or coaches. If this may be of interest to you, please contact Bryan Davies on 07770 596 717
